With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Jerred Bapty has worked to establish himself as a top local sportscaster. He has collaborated on a variety of projects, from feature films to live sports broadcasts, and is committed to delivering high-quality work to exceed his clients' expectations.
My Story
I started my journey in sports broadcasting when I hosted a radio show about Canadian Music called The Maple Leaf Forever during my year abroad in the United Kingdom. I honed my skills as a host, while researching and putting together songs and music around various themes for each show. This inspired me to pursue an avenue of voice work upon my return to Canada and I began commentating the Windsor Lancers Varsity hockey teams. I was accepted into The College of Sports Media, where I learned every aspect of being a sports journalist and freelance worker in sports media. From radio, television, and written media to editing, producing, and directing, the college gave me hands-on experience in it all.
Since graduating CSM, I have built the online platform of the Burlington Jr. Barracudas of the U22Elite, along with continuing my voice and hosting work across several organizations in the Golden Horseshoe area. I aspire to one day commentate the highest level of professional sports on a national network and range in my love of hockey and sailing, to curling, football, and several other sports found in the Olympics.
